St Mary's Parish Church

Dear Friends,

May I take this opportunity to welcome  you to the Church pages on this website.  We are grateful to Kidwelly Town Council for making this facility available to us.

St Mary’s, Kidwelly is part of the parish grouping of Cydweli and Llandyfaelog. The 3 churches of St Mary’s, Kidwelly, St Teilo’s, Mynyddygarreg, and St Maelog’s, Llandyfaelog form the grouping, which is part of the deanery of Emlyn  in the Diocese of St Davids which is itself part of the Church in Wales.

These pages are in the process of development and will be kept up to date with information about services in our 3 churches. You will also find information about who’s who in our churches and events organised by the churches. Our parish magazine can be read online and downloaded for your own use.  Information about Church organisations such as the Mothers’ Union is available . You can even donate money to the church through this website, and you can use the links to contact one of the clergy or other church officers. Our plans for developing this site include an illustrated tour of St Mary’s church which you can print and bring with you when you visit. Historical and architectural information will also be made available. Links to other sites connected with the Anglican Communion will also be  added.

Our churches are all interesting buildings, but, more importantly, they are places of worship, where christians meet to praise God and share fellowship with one another, where anyone is welcome. Do please come and join us at any of our services or events.
