Cllr Jeanette Gilasbey was recently elected as the Carmarthenshire County Councillor for Kidwelly ward. To view the results please click here.
Cllr Gilasbey was the Plaid Cymru-The Party of Wales candidate gained 48% of the vote while Cllr Phil Thompson, the Labour and Co-operative Party candidate gained 43% of the vote. They were followed by the Wales Green Party candidate, David Gwynfor Edwards, who gained 8% of the vote. Both Cllr Gilasbey and Cllr Thompson are Kidwelly Town Councillors, representing Mynyddygarreg ward and Castle ward respectively.
Cllr Gilasbey will be holding two surgeries in June. The first will be held at Kidwelly Rugby Club on Saturday 10th June at 10.30am. The second will be held at Mynyddygarreg Hall on Saturday 24th June at 10.30am. If residents cannot attend the surgeries Cllr Gilasbey welcomes enquiries by email or by phone.
