Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984
As amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions Act) 1991
Temporary Prohibition of Through Traffic
Carmarthenshire County Council hereby gives notice that from 22nd of June 2020 no person shall cause any vehicle to proceed along that length of road known as C2068, Four Roads, Kidwelly, from its junction with the C2057 for a distance of 50 metres in a North-Westerly direction.
The closure is necessary while Welsh Water carry out essential repair works.
The alternative route for North-Westbound traffic will be to continue along the C2057 in a South-Westerly direction to its junction with the U2241, Heol Y Ysgol. At the junction, turn right and continue in a North-Westerly direction along the U2241 to its junction with the U2226, Horeb Road. At the junction, turn right and continue in a North-Easterly direction along the U2226 to its junction with the C2068 passing property known as Golwg Yr Allt. At the junction, turn right and continue in a North-Easterly to South-Easterly direction along the C2068 passing properties known as The Willows and Haul-Y-Bryn to return to a point North-West of the closure. Vice Versa for South-Eastbound traffic.
This Notice shall continue in force for a period not exceeding twenty one days after which time its provision may be extended by a Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the same Act.
