Full Council

The full Town Council meetings cover general issues relating to the work of the Council. The acts and proceedings of a Committee shall in all respects be subject to the provisions of Kidwelly Town Council’s Standing Orders and Financial Regulations, except as otherwise determined by the Town Council.

1. Matters to be resolved by Full Council

Appointing a Town Mayor
Confirming the appointment (or dismissal) of the Proper Officer and Responsible Financial Officer
Determine and Issue the precept
Borrowing money
Approval the End of Year Accounts and Annual Return
Appointing an Internal auditor
Amending Standing Orders and Financial Regulations
Appointing or nominating persons to fill vacancies on outside bodies
Appointing Committees
To consider legislation and the consequences thereof upon the Town Council
