Kidwelly Carnival

Kidwelly Carnival is an Annual event held on the 2nd Saturday of July each year.

The event starts in Parc Stephens with the judging of floats and individuals. The parade leaves the park led by the Various Carnival Queens and of course our very own Princess Gwenllian. The parade is always great fun and well worth seeing!

On return to the park there are a variety of side stalls, face painting bouncy castles and a fun fair for your amusement.

We are most fortunate each year to have the attendance of the RAF. This year we had a fly past by a Lancaster Bomber and also a wonderful display by the RAF Falcons Parachute Display team. In previous years we have also had the wonderful RAF dog team, the Red Arrows and Tornado Display teams.

Merlin's Magicians Flyball Team
"Merlin's Magicians" are a new British Flyball Association team enjoying their first season of racing. Based in the Carmarthenshire area we have weekly sessions at Newcastle Emlyn and Ferryside,  activities include Agility, 'just for fun' as well as Flyball.   We welcome ALL dogs any breed and age as long as fit, if your dog likes a ball and has a reasonable recall give it a go. Come along to our training sessions in West Wales.

At Kidwelly Carnival we will  give you a quick taste, unfortunately our complete compliment of dogs can't be here they are at Tivyside, so what we will do is show each dog individually, then race some pairs.
