Kidwelly Twinning Association

Kidwelly is twinned with St Jacut de la Mer in Brittany, France. St Jacut is a coastal town of similar size to Kidwelly and also has a medieval castle.

A delegation from Kidwelly visited St Jacut de la Mer in April 2007 and signed the Twinning Charter. A reciprocal ceremony was held in Kidwelly Castle in April 2008 when a French party visited and were taken to see attractions in the local area. A visit to St Jacut de la Mer also took place in April 2009.
