Kidwelly Festival Choir

A mixed voice choir formed in1983, the year of the Festival of Castles. The choir have sung in Albert Hall 1000 mixed voices three times, Bristol, and many local venues in South Wales including the Botanic Gardens. Twinned with German choir and performed in Mannheim, Weihein and Neider-Liebersbach on two exchange visits. Over £10,000 has been raised for a variety of charities over the last 28 years, and two concerts for a new church roof in Newquay, Cornwall. The Choir performs a varied repertoire, from sacred & classical, to musicals & popular songs. We have been lucky to engage a young, energetic and inspiring conductor. The entire choir enjoys good camaraderie and hardworking fun. Rehearsals held every Wednesday 7 pm at Capel Sul Vestry. New members (especially men) are welcome, please come along.
