Carmarthenshire County Council intend on developing a new building for Ysgol Y Castell.
As part of the authority’s Modernising Education Programme and in collaboration with the Welsh Government 21st Century Schools and Education Programme, Ysgol Y Castell has been identified for investment.
An ‘Open Evening’ will be held at the school on Tuesday, 16th October 2018, between 6.30pm and 8.30pm. The purpose of the consultation is to share the proposed plans for the school.
This informal event will be attended by representatives from the Environment Department who deal with aspects of design and representatives from the Education Department who can provide general information about the project.
It is hoped that this event will provide an opportunity for you to participate in the discussions and ask questions on the plans for the development.
