TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE – U2242, MYNYDDYGARREG, KIDWELLY.
A request has been received for the temporary road closure of the U2242, Mynyddygarreg, Kidwelly from its junction with Golwg Y Twr for a distance of 50 metres in a North-Westerly direction.
The closure is necessary to ensure public safety while MJ Quinn carry out installation works from Monday 12th April 2021 for a period of 3 days.
The alternative route for North-Westbound traffic will be to proceed along the U2242 in a South-Easterly direction to its junction with the U2241 (Heol Yr Ysgol). At the junction, turn right and continue along Heol Yr Ysgol in a South-Easterly direction to its junction with the C2057 (Meinciau Road) passing property known as Tan Y Bryn. At the junction, turn right and continue along the C2057 in a South-Westerly direction to its junction with the U2229 (Llangadog Road). At the junction, turn right and continue along the U2229 in a North-Easterly direction to its junction with the U2242 passing property known as Felindre Lodge. At the junction, turn right and continue along the U2242 in a North-Easterly to South-Easterly direction passing property known as Church View to return to a point North-West of the closure. Vice Versa for South-Eastbound traffic.
