Glan y Mor Comprehensive School, (Local education authority: Carmarthenshire) is a Secondary School in Burry Port, Carmarthensire. It is a Mixed school of Non Denominational religion. At Glan-y-Môr we believe that every child is unique and in possession of talents that are simply waiting for the right environment to be nurtured. Each pupil is expected to give of their best and to make the most of the opportunities that we offer. We expect and encourage all pupils to become fully involved in their learning and strive to become independent learners, “to learn their way into the future”.
At Ysgol Glan-y-Môr School we foster an ethos of community and family spirit. We have an excellent reputation for both the high quality of our teaching and learning and our approach to pastoral care, pupil support and guidance.

Glan-y-Môr School is an 11-16 school of approximately 500 pupils, set in beautiful and extensive grounds along the coastal strip in Burry Port. Our academic results are consistently high and we strive to provide the best possible education for each pupil's needs. The dedicated team of teachers and support staff here ensure that our pupils not only achieve their very best, but also grow to become well-rounded, model citizens.
