Within Kidwelly and Mynyddygarreg the Civic Society aims are:
1. To promote high standards of planning, architecture and design;
2. To assist in the education of the public in the history, geography and conservation of the natural and built environment;
3. To promote policies and projects that will enhance the quality of life in the communities within Kidwelly and Mynyddygarreg;
4. To provide environmental, economic and social sustainability;
5. To assist in the protection, preservation and improvement of features of historic or public interest;
6. To promote civic pride.
The Society meets except for January and August on the second Thursday of the month at Morfa Vestry at 7 pm. If you share the aims as set out above consider becoming a member of the Society.
